the blog experience

The truth is, i don´t like work in a blog, because (and maybe the only reason) i hate the computer. Always, when i work in the computer, my head want explode.

I think the computers hates me and i hate it, so, maybe for this reason, the blogger experience is not good for my.

In the blog experience, i only enjoyed reading histories of my classmate. Some persons in the class had histories very good and interesting or funny

I think this activity help me to improve my English, because there are some activities where we need to know some words specific, so this things forced to me to search new words that i didn´t know.

I think the advantages of blogging in the English class were: we can learn new words and you can receive the comments of teacher while you write your activity.

 I think the disadvantages of blogging in the English class were: I think this kind of work, is not necessary make it in the class, because always been problems with the internet.

I think the blog maybe had should make like a homework.  We should use Monday for practice the pronunciation more, because I think for speak in English, you need confidence and the confidence you only get it with practice

the interview to Alejandro

The men, when they are young, they love going to parties or get out with their friends. In generality, the younger man loves a social life, but Alejandro doesn´t like that.

He is only 21 years old and he prefers a quiet life, he likes going to theater, because he loves this kind of culture. He enjoys with an opera concerts or ballet concerts.

He likes seeing movies, but he doesn´t like go to the cinema because he thinks in the price of the tickets and he choose stay in his house watching the film.

Also he loves reading books of histories. He always reads to writer like Cortazar, Shakespeare, and Edgar Allan Poe. He loves these kind books because he thinks is very interesting.

Also, the favorite activity of Alejandro is sleep. He is always thinking in the moment when he finally can goes to his bed for sleep to much hours.

Alejandro looks calm and relaxed. when you see him, you know that he will not like the parties or the noise, because he always is quiet.

I admire...

The truth is i don’t admire anybody on my field, but I have to do this homework so I will say, I admire Constanza Santa Maria.

She is a journalist, she studied at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and she graduated in 1995. She worked in the newspaper El Mercurio in the economy section, she works CNN in Spanish in EEUU like a producer and as a reporter and when she returned to Chile, she worked in a program called "pantalla abierta". On these days she works in Canal13.  She makes reports and she leads the news in canal 13, in the night. She has a master's degree in broadcast journalism; she did at the University of Columbia.

She married a lawyer from Holland, Sander van der Voorde. She has two children with him

I admire her because she is a serious and respected journalist. When happen big news in the world or in Chile, she is sent to those places.

Also, she dresses very well; she is very smart and always looks great.

My favorite book

My favorite book is Santa María de las Flores Negras. This book was written by Hernán Rivera Letelier in 2002.

This book tells a true story that occurred in Chile in 1907 in Iquique. That year came to Iquique thousands of miners demanding higher wages. They stayed in school Iquique while getting their demands.

I like this book, because is a true story of my country, also it is very well written, researched and told. I like because the writer was miner, so he write about his experience, about all he listened. Maybe the book is interesting because he talk about a situation that he knows, , that he lived.

"It is risky, put together history and fiction is like walking the edge ... but it is a challenge for an artist. I think I did ... I am proud to have rescued the history of nitrate that was forgotten." (Hernán Rivera Letelier).

my favorite photograph

Really, I don`t like the photographs, because I think, when you take a photograph, you lose the moment, you can`t enjoy it. But, I have some pictures that I like. Like this one

This picture was taken for my aunt on my father`s birthday. My aunt doesn’t know use the camera, so we had wait a long time for the picture.

In this picture is all my family; in the left is my sister, then my mother, my father, my brother and me. We were in the backyard of my house.

I like this picture for two reasons; in the first place, because my family looks happy and we were together in that opportunity. And second, because in that time, my lovely pet chochi was alive.

Really,i like this picture a lot, because all my family is there and when I see the picture, I remember very good moments.

activity 4

My favorite movie is “Center Stage”. It is a drama musical film about a group of students of ballet. They begin to study in the best academy of dance in the EEUU. In the film show us a group of 5 young dancers who explores the issues and difficult test.

I like this movie because shows problems typical of ballet career, so it is very real. In this movie you can see a beautiful finally dance and you can see the entire road of dancers for get a position in the academy.

This movie was direct by Nicholas Hytner, and actors were a dancer in the real life, like Ethan Stiefel, Amanda Schull and Peter Gallagher.

The best of this movie is the music, because they used a contemporary and classic music together and that is very nice.

activity 3

My favourite pice of technology is the electric blanket, because it warms me every night when the winter begin.

My mom bought my electric blanket 4 years ago, because my brother and I, we always complain her, because in my house the only person had one, was my mom. For this reason, in the night we died of cold, except my mom.

I use my electric blanket all night and in the afternoon when day is cold and I don`t have class. I always use my lovely electric blanket before to sleep, when I watch tv and while I sleep.

I like it because is the best invention in the world. Since I have it, I never feel cold my feet again and I don’t wake up in the night with cold.

If I don’t have my electric blanket, I would died

activity 2

My favorite band is Green Day. 

I knew Green Day, because my father, José Miguel, was fan of this band, and listened them all the time in my house. When Green day started their music career, they had a punk style, but now, they had a post punk/pop style.

I like this band because i like the letter of their song, because they said everything they dont like, and because i love the principal singer, Billie Joe.

In 2010 they came to Chile and made a concert. I was all night in the stadium waiting to Green day. It was the best concert of my life.  

My favorite songs are Hitchin a Ride and Nice guys finish last, because are very fun songs, and i can dance with it.

Im Claudia Cardemil Bravo, but my friends call me claudy or clau. My family call me claudita.
I was born a monday on the 9th april 1990 to the lunch hour. I was born in Santiago, but now i live in Maipú.
When i was 4 years, i started dancing at the Teatro Municipal de Santiago, this is the best academy for leanr to dance. i left in 2004 because i wanted a career university
i studied my primary and secundary at the colegio santa maria de maipú, this school is near to my house. Now im studing journalism, this is my 4th year.
My family is made up of my mom, Doris, my father José Miguel, my sister María José, my little brother Juan Pablo and my three pets, two cats, Kuko and Lulú and my dog Manchi. In 2003 my father had an accident, since that moment he never recovered, so i have to work like a promoter at the supermarket. I work like promoter in this moment, when i dont have any test. In this work i knew my boyfriend Manuel
my hobbie is dance, cook cakes with my boyfriend and help animals living on the streets. pick up my pets on the street .
